So far in this tournament only one African nation have managed to bag a win in the competition, Ghana, and today they face Australia who will be licking their wounds after getting trounced by Germany by four goals in their opening match. Ghana have a physical presence about them that the aging Ozzies might struggle with. Tim Cahill is suspended and noone is sure about Harry Kewell's fitness so it is hard to see where the goals will come from. Should Ghana win it will eliminate Australia and as much as I like the country that brought us Kylie and Jason I am predicting a flight home soon.
Head To Head: Ghana 1 win, Draw 1, Australia 5 wins
Last Meeting: 23/5/2008 Australia 1 Ghana 0 (Sydney)
Best Odds: Ghana 5/4, Draw 23/10, Australia 13/5
Verdict: 2-0
