Tottenham Hotspur's International Break Round Up

Croatia
Stipe Pletikosa didn't play for Croatia but the other 3 Spurs player (Luka Modric, Niko Kranjcar and Vedran Corluka) played the full 90 minutes in their Group F Euro Qualifier against Malta which they won 3-0 and no-one would've been happier than Kranjcar who managed to bag a brace taking his tally to 4 goals in 4 Euro Qualifying appearances for the midfielder.  With this kind of form in International football Kranjcar will be hoping club manager Harry Redknapp will give him more starts otherwise his future could lie elsewhere.

England
Peter Crouch was only given 6 minutes in England 1-2 friendly defeat to France but it was enough time for him to grab another goal to add to his impressive tally.  The striker only came on due to an injury to Steven Gerrard but he managed to get a toe to the ball to score past Lloris to make the final score look closer than it really was.  France totally dominated and maybe could've won by a bigger margain.

Holland
The final Spurs player in international action this week was Rafael van der Vaart.  The 27 year old midfielder played 80 minutes for the Dutch in their 1-0 victory over Turkey in Amsterdam before being replaced by debutant Royston Drenthe.  Van der Vaart won his 88th cap making him the 5th most capped player in Dutch football history.
