Worldwide Football can reveal Liverpool have completed the signing of Serbian striker Milan Jovanovic on a free transfer from Belgian club Standard Liege.
The striker 29 has signed a 3 year deal and has already joined up with his new team mates at Liverpool's Melwood training ground and is expected to join Liverpool on the Swiss training camp.
Jovanovic is well traveled having had spells in Serbia, Ukraine, Russia as well as Belgium and was a member of the Serbian World Cup squad that participated in this years World Cup scoring the winning goal in their group match against Germany.
The deal was actually put into place by ex manager Rafa Benitez and rumour has it he even tried to hijack the deal and take him to Inter Milan but Jovanovic stuck by his word and joined Liverpool.
