Ramires Becomes A Pensioner

Fee: Undisclosed

Worldwide Football can confirm Chelsea have finally completed the signing of Brazilian international Ramires for a fee believed to be in the £18m region.

Chelsea have been in negotiations with Ramires advisors for a while now and the fee was finally settled after an agreement with Benfica and also with Jazzy Limited who owned 50% of the player and Ramires could make his Premier League debut when Chelsea take on West Bromwich Albion which is also the first title defence of the 2010/11 season.

The 23 year old has represented Brazil 16 times since making his debut in 2009 scoring 2 goals and has also played for Cruzeiro in Brazil.

Ramires becomes Chelsea's 3rd signing of the season after capturing the signatures of Yossi Benayoun from Liverpool and also 17 year old Tomas Kalas from Sigma Olomouc.

After losing yesterdays Charity Shield Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti came out and said he wouldn't panic buy after yesterdays showing so will this be the final piece of Chelsea's 2010/11 jigsaw?
