Fulham have completed the signing of former Chelsea, Barcelona and Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen from Premier League side Stoke City.
It was thought Gudjohnsen was going to be heading to Holland and Ajax but Fulham manager Mark Hughes has managed to get in and sign the 32 year old on loan until the end of the season.
Since signing for Stoke in August Gudjohnsen has only managed 4 appearances for the Potters where he has struggled with form and fitness but the Icelandic marksmen will be hoping to show Mark Hughes he still has the ability to score at Premier League level.
Eidur Gudjohnsens career:
1995 - Valur Reykjavik - 17 apps (7 goals)
1995-1997 - PSV - 13 apps (3 goals)
1998 - KR Reykjavik - 6 apps
1998-2000 - Bolton Wanderers - 55 apps (18 goals)
2000-2006 - Chelsea - 186 apps (54 goals)
2006-2009 - Barcelona - 72 apps (10 goals)
2009-2010 - Monaco - 9 apps
2010 - Tottenham Hotspur (loan) - 11 apps (1 goal)
2010 - Stoke City - 4 apps
