It seems Sunderland manager Steve Bruce has caught the transfer bug today. Earlier he signed Sulley Muntari on loan from Internazionale and now he has followed that up with the signing of Benin international midfielder Stephane Sessegnon from French club Paris St Germain for a fee believed to be £6m.
Sessegnon has made 76 appearances for PSG but has struggled to get into the starting eleven this season. With a severe loss of form Sessegnon has found himself frustrated and on the subs bench which has affected his relationship with his coach Antoine Kombouare. In December 2010 Sessegnon handed in a transfer request which was refused. Sessegnon then decided not to join the team on a training camp in Morocco. This kind of behaviour was enough for PSG to accept Steve Bruce's bid and becomes Sunderland second signing of the transfer window.
Can Bruce get another deal in before midnight and make it the hat-trick!!!
