WorldwideFootball can reveal England striker James Beattie has joined the Blackpool revolution signing on loan today from Scottish giants Rangers.
The striker, capped 5 times by England joined Rangers in the summer of 2010 and made his debut in their opening SPL match against Kilmarnock but since then Beattie has only managed a further 6 appearances and is still waiting for his first goal for the Glasgow giants.
Beattie is Blackpool's second signing of the day following in the footsteps of Irishman Andy Reid and is the third signing for the Tangerines in the January transfer window.
