QPR promoted to the Premier League

2-0 win brings them up as champions

While we have yet to find out who will be relegated out of the Premier League, today we found out one club who will be playing there after promotion from the Championship.
Neil Warnocks Queens Park Rangers beat Watford 2-0 today at Vicrage Road which not only confirmed them as promoted but also confirmed they would come up as champions.
Strikes from the Championships player of the year Adel Taarabt and ex-Watford striker Tommy Smith ensured promotion although only one point was needed.
It was time to celebreate for the QPR faithful who have stuck by their club since their relegation back in 1996. They have faced administration, several managers and takeover bids and even now they are under threat of a possible 15 point deduction but for now it is time for the player, supporters and everyone connected with the club to celebrate. After 15 years they are back with the big guns and with the financial clout behind them they would be expected to survive their first season back in the Premier League but who will follow them as the other side to go up automatically. Well we could find out on Bank Holiday Monday, should Cardiff City fail to be Middlesbrough and Norwich beat Portsmouth then it'll be the Canaries hosting Premier League football next season.
For now WorldwideFootball would like to congratulate his players on their promotion, they have played attractive football and led the table for a majority of the season so they certainly deserve it.
