World Cup Match 10 Preview

Japan v Cameroon shouldn't be a classic, but I think this could well be quite an entertaining game.  Both countries have a big reputation in their respective continents and neither will want to begin their quest with a defeat today, but both will want to avoid disappointing their fans so it could be quite an encounter.  Both sides scored 23 goals in qualifying so they know where the net is.
Cameroon will be relying on their star man, Inter Milan's Samuel Eto'o.  He has avoided suspension after being sent off in a recent friendly so he will be geared up and ready to go.  The  twice African Footballer Of The Year will want to stamp his authority on the tournament and I can see him getting a couple of goals today.
Keiji Tamada will be Japans likely source of goals but they will have to get the ball to him and one thing you can say about Cameroon, there not shy putting a tackle or two in so the Japanese midfielders will have their work cut out so for me the point will be heading to the Indomitable Lions.

Head To Head: Japan 2 wins, Draw 1, Cameroon 0 wins

Last Meeting: 22/08/2007 Japan 2 Cameroon 0 (Oita)

Best Odds: Japan 3/1, Draw 23/10, Cameroon 23/20

Verdict: Japan 0 Cameroon 2
