World Cup Match 16 Preview

After this game we would have seen all 32 teams in the World Cup.  Spain have more talent in their squad than anyone else in the tournament and are rightly the favourites for the competition.  With David Villa and Fernando Torres up front they boast one of the most potent strike forces in world football.  Their midfield is so jammed full of talent Arsenals (or will it be Barcelona's) Cesc Fabregas can't get a regular start for his country.  Previous records would confirm everyone else's prediction and that is an easy win for the Spaniards.
Switzerlands goal threat comes from Basel's Alexander Frei and in defence they will be putting their hopes on the shoulders of Evertons Philippe Senderos who will be hoping to show Arsenal that they were wrong to send him packing to Merseyside.  Another Premier League player to look out for is West Ham's Valon Behrami.  He could be their key if they are to get anything out of this game but Spain could just prove to strong.

Head To Head: Spain 15 wins, Draw 3, Switzerland 1 win

Last Meeting: 2/7/1994 Spain 3 Switzerland 0 (Washington DC)

Best Odds: Spain 2/7, Draw 9/2, Switzerland 25/2

Verdict: Spain 3 Switzerland 0
