Babel Hoff To Germany

Fee: £6m

WorldwideFootball understands Holland winger Ryan Babel has joined Bundesliga club Hoffenheim for a fee believed to be £6m.
The 24 year old joined Liverpool in 2007 for £11.5m but has failed to cement a place in the starting line up.  Babel made 91 appearances, 60 as sub and scored 12 goals for the Anfield club and in January 2011 Babel was fined £10,000 by the FA for a picture he posted on Twitter in which he created a photograph of referee Howard Webb wearing a Manchester United shirt after the Rotherham official awarded Manchester United a penalty in a recent FA Cup clash.
With new Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish planning on making changes he obviously deems Babel surplus to requirements and has allowed the Dutchman to leave and to further his career elsewhere.

Liverpool fans, are you sorry to see Babel go?  Was he ever given a chance at Anfield? And who do you think King Kenny should get in to replace Babel.
