Beckham In Carlo Cudicini Swap?

I have heard through the grapevine today that David Beckhams loan move to Tottenham Hotspur is ON but for Beckham to join he is hoping reserve goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini will agree to let him have the number 23 shirt which he has had since joining Real Madrid in 2003.


Becks is hopeful LA Galaxy will let him play for Tottenham.  Even though Beckham has stated he would only play for Manchester United in the Premier League, Beckhams grandad was a Tottenham supporter so the midfielder would happily commit himself to the White Hart Lane cause.


Beckham, 35, steered LA Galaxy to the Western Conference title where they won the Supporters Shield only to lose to FC Dallas in the Western Conference play-offs but wants to continue his international career and see's a 2 month loan move the way to keep him in Fabio Capello's thoughts.


In 2009 David Beckham had a successful loan spell in Serie A when he joined AC Milan initially for two months but ended up spending the rest of the Italian season at the San Siro but should Beckham be allowed to join Tottenham it would only be for two months as the Galaxy want their star man back in time for pre-season.
