Sid's Off To The Cottage

Fee:Undisclosed

WorldwideFootball understands Fulham have completed the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Steve Sidwell on an initial six month deal with the possibility of a further 3 years.
West Ham United were also in for the midfielder as were Wolves but Sidwell has decided he would be better of playing under Mark Hughes.
The former Arsenal, Reading and Chelsea midfielder made 45 appearances for Aston Villa in three years scoring 3 goals but has struggled to cement a place in the Aston Villa starting team.
The fee has been undisclosed like most transfer fee's and although it is unlikely Sidwell will play for Fulham against Peteborough in the FA Cup he could make his debut away to Wigan next weekend.
