Henry Sweeps Roy Under The Carpet

Liverpools 3-1 defeat against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday was the final nail in the coffin as Roy Hodgsons 5 month tenure as Kop Boss came to an end today by mutual consent.
During Hodgsons reign Liverpool won only 7 matches in 20 including defeats against Blackpool and Wolves and was knocked out of the League Cup by Northampton Town.
Kenny Dalglish will be taking charge of the FA Cup tie against Manchester United tomorrow and will also oversee things until the summer.
Hodsgon wasn't able to win over the Liverpool supporters from day one.  Fans thought the club was too big for Hodgson, the signings he made weren't anywhere near the quality of those let go and the performances on the pitch have been a disappointment.
On Wednesday Hodgson refused to answer questions about his future and when the pre-match press conference on Friday was cancelled it led to rumours of him parting company with the club.
Dalglish, 58 was interested in the managerial position when Rafael Benitez left in the summer but then owner Hicks and Gillett decided to go with Hodgson.  Whether Dalglish will be in charge next season depends on how his side do in the second half of the season.

So who do you want in charge next season?  All "clean" comments will be printed, email me at jaymoe26@gmail.com
